Medical Visa
A medical visa is issued for medical treatment and is specifically designed for individuals who require medical treatment in Canada. This visa allows you to enter and stay in Canada for the duration of your medical treatment. To enhance your chances of success for Canadian medical visa, you need documentation proof that this treatment or surgery needs to be undertaken in Canada. The applicant should submit such proof from the treating physician indicating that arrangements have been made for the treatment. The treating physician should be affiliated with a Canadian institution that can provide the services required by the applicant. Medical visa is usually valid for up to three months with single entry. Please note that relevant letters/documents explaining details of the treatment must be signed and stamped by the relevant hospital or clinic in Canada.
